Cowchain blockchain development company seeks a QA Team Lead to join our development team.
About us: Cowchain have successfully completed 120+ projects mainly on EVM-based blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base including Coinmarketcap leaders with 180M+ total capitalization and 20M+ daily trading volume in Move2Earn, Play2Earn and DeFi industries.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced QA Team Lead to build and lead the QA function across our company’s products. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quality assurance best practices for web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities1. QA Process Ownership Define and implement QA best practices (manual & automation) across Web and Mobile platforms. * Establish and maintain standardized processes and documentation (test cases, bug templates, acceptance criteria). * Develop and continuously improve QA strategies aligned with the company’s development lifecycle.
2. Product Quality Control Design and maintain comprehensive test documentation (Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Reports). * Ensure high test coverage and product stability across all environments (Dev, Testnet, Mainnet, Staging). * Oversee both manual and automated testing processes.
3. Team Leadership & Development * Mentor and support QA engineers through regular 1-on-1s, code/test reviews, and performance evaluations. * Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
4. Analytics & Reporting * Track and analyze QA metrics (Defect Leakage, Bug Fix Rate, Coverage). * Provide regular updates and insights to senior management (e.g., weekly sync reports for COO).
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Actively participate in planning and grooming sessions (Scrum, Kanban). * Support release processes and ensure thorough post-release validation.
6. Test Automation Development * Initiate and/or lead the development of automation frameworks (UI, API, smart contracts — if applicable). * Promote automation as a core part of the QA strategy.
7. Continuous Improvement * Identify gaps and propose innovative solutions to enhance overall QA effectiveness and release quality.
Experience in Web3 will be a big plus!
Goals for the Role * Build a Scalable QA System: Implement a full QA cycle covering all company products from the ground up. * Improve Release Quality: Reduce production defects and increase test automation coverage.
