Role Summary
We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and highly proactive individual who is ready to create, own, and grow our Upwork sales channel. This role is not about waiting for instructions — we need someone who understands business logic, works independently, and has the ambition to grow into a leadership position as we expand.
You won’t be micromanaged — we expect initiative, high standards, and responsibility.
This role is for someone who wants to drive results and create impact — not just complete tasks.
We need you to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities * Create and build the Upwork lead generation process from scratch. * Identify and engage potential clients through strategic bidding and personalized proposal submissions. * Daily monitoring of Upwork job postings, quick and smart response strategy. * Test and refine ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), search filters, and qualification criteria. * Develop, analyze, and optimize proposal templates and communication scripts. * Set up and manage CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive) to track leads, proposals, and client interactions. * Develop analytics on Upwork job posts: views, reply rates, lead quality, win rates. * Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the sales process. * Build and maintain a strong Upwork profile and portfolio (text and visuals). * Work closely with leadership on strategic sales and business development initiatives. * Meet and exceed clear KPIs aligned with business goals.
Requirements: Must-have: * Proven experience working with Upwork: from client search to successful deal closure. * Advanced English proficiency (В2 or higher) — ability to write clear, structured proposals without “Google Translate” mistakes. * Strong writing skills — professional, persuasive, and client-focused. * Minimum 2 years in IT sales, lead generation, or business development roles. * Deep understanding of the IT outsourcing industry and agency operations. * Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Pipedrive, Hubspot, or similar). * Proactive mindset — ability to initiate tasks and drive results independently. * Excellent analytical skills — ability to track, measure, and optimize performance.
Nice-to-have: * Experience with Upwork automation tools (e.g., GigRadar, GetMany). * Familiarity with LinkedIn for lead generation and outreach. * Understanding of the full digital project lifecycle — from briefing to delivery. * Experience working with B2B clients and mid-size businesses
