This is a dynamic entry-level position designed for individuals eager to kick-start their career in marketing, business development, and startup growth. As a Business Development & Marketing Associate, you’ll work closely with the Head of the Department to support day-to-day initiatives across marketing campaigns, lead generation, client engagement, and operational tasks. You’ll play a key supporting role in executing routine marketing activities, managing communication and coordination efforts, and helping shape our go-to-market strategies.
This is a hands-on assistant role involving a wide range of manual and operational tasks. While the position doesn’t require advanced technical skills, it does demand attention to detail, strong task ownership, and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches. You’ll be expected to support the team consistently and reliably as you gain exposure to real-world business processes.
This opportunity is especially well-suited for a recent graduate from a Ukrainian university (or similar academic background) in marketing, sales, or business-related studies, who is looking for their first step into the world of startups, marketing, and business development. The role provides a strong foundation for future growth into independent roles in marketing, partnerships, or growth strategy.
Role Responsibilities * Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels * Support communication efforts through outreach, email, and social media * Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and partnership opportunities * Help prepare pitch decks, client proposals, and internal presentations * Work with management tools and provide task details for department members * Support social and marketing engagement initiatives * Communicate with prospects and partners on behalf of the team when needed * Collaborate with the Head of Growth on key projects and daily priorities * Continuously learn and contribute ideas to improve marketing and business development efforts
Team Scope & Activities
Marketing * Create and manage digital campaigns across channels * Produce content (social media, blog posts, newsletters) * Track campaign performance and optimize for results * Maintain website, landing pages, and content calendar * Support branding, events, and internal communication
Business Development * Identify and reach out to potential clients and partners * Conduct market research and lead qualification * Manage CRM and sales pipeline activities * Support outreach campaigns and networking efforts * Prepare pitch materials and client presentations
Pre-Sales * Join discovery calls and gather client requirements * Prepare proposals, estimates, and presentation decks * Support RFPs and tailored client materials * Align technical and business needs in early sales stages * Ensure smooth handoff to delivery teams post-deal
Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role * Networking Skills: Able to quickly build meaningful connections and foster strong relationships with diverse partners. * Proficient English Communication: Good command of both written and spoken English for clear and effective communication. * Proactive Communication Style: Comfortable and confident in engaging with team members, colleagues, and external partners. * Collaboration: Works well with others to achieve shared goals through cooperation and mutual support. * Trustworthiness: Builds confidence through reliability, integrity, and consistent delivery of results. * Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving clear goals with determination and a performance-driven mindset. * Basic Understanding of Marketing Principles: Familiar with key concepts such as digital marketing, content creation, branding, and social media engagement through coursework, internships, or personal projects. * Market & Competitor Research: Able to analyze trends, identify market gaps, and summarize findings to support strategic decisions. * Social Media Familiarity: Understands how platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and X work and how they are used to engage audiences and grow brand visibility. * Attention to Detail: Delivers high-quality work by double-checking tasks, spotting errors, and following instructions closely. * Willingness to Learn Tools: Open to exploring and using platforms such as CRMs, email marketing tools, or design apps to support campaign execution. * Time Management: Can organize tasks effectively, juggle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines without supervision. * Interest in Growth & Startups: Motivated by learning about marketing, business development, and how startups grow and scale. * Creativity in Problem Solving: Thinks beyond standard approaches and tests new ideas to overcome challenges and deliver value. * Professionalism: Demonstrates credibility, responsibility, and a consistent approach to achieving high-quality results. * Self-Motivation: A self-starter who takes initiative, drives progress, and follows through on tasks independently.
Tools & Instruments We Need You To Know: * Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive): Confident using documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for daily tasks and collaboration * Social Media Platforms: Comfortable using LinkedIn, Instagram, and X for basic posting, research, and engagement * Presentation Tools (e.g., Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint): Can create simple visual materials for internal and external use * CRM Basics (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar): Able to update lead info, manage pipelines, and log interactions * Task & Project Management Tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, ClickUp): Familiar with tracking tasks, updating statuses, and following workflows * Basic Analytics (Google Analytics or platform insights): Knows how to check and interpret basic performance metrics (traffic, clicks, engagement)
Interview Stages: * Intro call with Recruiter (up to 45 minutes) * Interview with the Head of Growth (up to 60 minutes)
