We are seeking a skilled Middle Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team.
Please note, this position is for one project, not an in-house position, so the social package, including benefits like sick leave, public holidays, days off, vacations, accounting and necessary equipment provision, is not covered by Selecto.
About the project: * Domain: Tourism * Platform: a booking for passes for resorts in Europe * Vision: transform the fragmented, often frustrating experience of purchasing ski passes into a seamless digital journey while helping resorts reach new customers and optimize revenue. * Mission: become the dominant global platform for ski pass purchases by offering unprecedented comparison, convenience, and value. * Team: the client’s side — Stakeholder; Selecto’s side — Middle Strong/Senior BA/PO, Middle Product Designer, Design Director, Senior Fullstack developer, 2 Middle Fullstack developers (hiring). * Timeline: until November with a possibility of prolongation, contract work; working hours are from 9 or 10 am Kyiv time.
Technology Stack: * Frontend: React/Next.js for web applications * Backend: Node.js microservices architecture * Database: MongoDB for flexibility, PostgreSQL for transactions, Redis for caching * Cloud: AWS for global scalability
Skills List: * Expert-level knowledge of React.js and Next.js * Strong proficiency in TypeScript * Proficiency in Node.js with a strong grasp of microservices architecture * Solid experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL * Working knowledge of Redis for caching and session management
List of Responsibilities: * Build performant, responsive UIs with optimized server-side rendering * Manage application state effectively with modern React paradigms * Implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints with robust error handling and validation * Enforce strict typing across front-end and back-end codebases * Promote code quality through strong adherence to TypeScript best practices
