Requirements: • We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Team lead Legal Counsel to build and lead a crucial legal function dedicated to brand reputation protection, pre-litigation matters, and reputational risk management across diverse international jurisdictions. • This role demands a proactive, independent legal professional with a strong focus on the iGaming industry, digital platforms, and defamation-related disputes. • You will be instrumental in establishing this vital area from the ground up, with significant potential to expand and manage a dedicated team in the future.
Will be plus: • Experience working with major digital platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, Telegram, X/Twitter). • Background in working with investigators, cybersecurity teams, or online reputation protection services. • Familiarity with the iGaming, digital marketing, or media sectors.
Responsibilities: • Lead independently the legal function related to reputation protection, including managing pre-litigation claims, conducting legal monitoring of harmful content, and executing effective takedown procedures. • Identify, assess, and respond to reputational risks, such as defamation, fake news, misinformation, and brand misrepresentation. • Draft and manage legal claims, takedown requests, cease-and-desist letters, and other pre-trial correspondence across multiple jurisdictions. • Oversee and coordinate litigation processes specifically related to brand and reputation issues, collaborating closely with external counsel when necessary. • Collaborate strategically with PR, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure consistent and effective management of reputational incidents. • Develop and implement internal policies, workflows, and monitoring systems for robust reputational defense and incident response. • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in areas such as defamation law, freedom of expression, and digital platform liability.
