FuturumShop is a leading distributor and manufacturer of sports equipment and accessories with a strong presence in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The company was awarded Best Webshop 2019/2020 in the Sports/Bikes category and continues to scale its digital commerce. In partnership with Bintime, we’ve been working together for over 10 years to build and support two high-traffic e-commerce platforms and a mobile application tailored for the sports retail market.
As a QA Engineer on the FuturumShop, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the stability and usability of our e-commerce platforms. Your main focus will be on manual testing of new features and bug fixes across the Front Office, Back Office, and mobile application. You’ll collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile team to uphold quality standards and contribute to release preparation and regression testing. This role is well-suited for someone with a solid manual testing background, good understanding of testing processes, and a proactive attitude toward improving quality across the team.
Requirements * 2+ years of experience in manual QA testing * Strong understanding of software testing processes and defect lifecycle * Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing * Good knowledge of different types of testing (functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, etc.) * Analytical and critical thinking skills * Strong attention to detail * Experience working with test management systems * Basic knowledge of Git * Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams * Confident communication in English (written and spoken) * Basic understanding of automation testing (e.g., ability to read logs, test reports, and debug failures) * Basic experience writing automated tests (any framework or language) * Familiarity with CI tools like Github CI, Jenkins, or similar Understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman)
