As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize infrastructure, enhance developer productivity, and secure traffic delivery. You’ll partner with engineering, security, and operations teams to plan, execute, and report on programs that deliver measurable business impact.
Core responsibilities * Lead end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives across the full engineering stack, ensuring on-time, high-quality output. * Collaborate with Technical Leads on system and solution design; actively participate in architecture reviews to elevate technical standards. * Communicate proactively with leadership and business stakeholders, providing clear status updates on timelines, milestones and outcomes. * Analyze program dependencies by mapping and understanding existing technical architectures and their interrelations. * Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans, representing Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, Legal and Finance requirements. * Partner with Product Management and Engineering leads to drive continuous roadmap planning and prioritization. * Identify, monitor and mitigate risks to project delivery and overall program schedule through proactive tracking and escalation. * Manage change initiatives of moderate complexity, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
Project Domains * Infrastructure Consolidation & Cost Optimization * Lead data-center consolidation efforts: map existing architectures, analyze spend, establish visibility metrics, and implement right-sizing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
Cloud Integration for Open-Source Platforms * Scope and plan integration of open-source tooling with major cloud providers (e.g., Azure): define project goals, coordinate upstream maintainers and internal teams, and resolve technical challenges.
Traffic Security & Delivery * Coordinate the migration of client traffic through a CDN and WAF platform (e.g., Akamai): oversee testing, rollout, and performance/security tuning to meet defined SLAs.
Desired Qualifications * 5+ years in technical program or project management within SaaS, enterprise IT, or related fields * Demonstrated experience in data center domain and infrastructure cost-optimization * Good understanding of networking and security concepts * Strong understanding of public cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) * Proven track record with CDN/WAF implementations and performance tuning * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations and stakeholder management * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline * Experience working closely with engineering teams for development and launch of large complex programs * Experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet * Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Research, Engineering, IT, Operations, Legal, Security, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support * Solid understanding of eCommerce foundational concepts * Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and delivering solutions * Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment * Ability to lead without authority to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion * Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships * Confident in working with Executive team members * Experience in a company that has scale or experience in both small and large software development organizations
