Hello! We are looking for an experienced 2D Animator who is passionate about games and skilled at creating dynamic, expressive animations for characters, UI elements, and effects. You will be part of a creative team bringing vibrant, living game worlds to life.
️ Responsibilities: * Create engaging in-game animations: idle cycles, attacks, reactions, interactions, destruction effects. * Animate UI elements such as buttons, coins, bonuses, and win/lose transitions. * Work with VFX: hits, flashes, and interactive visual effects. * Prepare graphic assets for animation: correct slicing of PSD/PSB files, adaptation for rigging. * Maintain and enhance the visual style of the project in collaboration with artists. * Optimize animations for mobile platforms (smooth loops, lightweight exports, minimal keyframes).
Requirements:
Experience: * 2+ years of experience in 2D animation for games (mobile and/or browser-based). * Solid understanding of the game development pipeline and how animation integrates with game engines.
Tools: * Strong proficiency in Spine, DragonBones, or similar 2D skeletal animation tools. * Confident use of Adobe Photoshop for character assembly and asset export. * Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus, as well as familiarity with export formats (JSON, atlas, PNG, sprite sheets).
Technical Skills: * Ability to create smooth, optimized animation loops. * Asset adaptation and optimization for mobile performance.
Portfolio: * A portfolio showcasing examples of in-game animations, including character movements, visual effects, and UI elements, is required.
