About The Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our DevOps Team. Your primary responsibility will be providing day-to-day support for and ensuring the performance of the enterprise-wide Unix System infrastructure and interconnected technologies. In this role, we highly value not only technical expertise but also a strong desire to learn and excel, coupled with exceptional teamwork skills.
What You Will Do... * Lead and optimize the deployment process across dev, stage, and production environments. * Architect, implement, and maintain High Availability and disaster recovery solutions. * Drive and participate in technical discussions to shape system architecture, design scalable solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues. * Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of production infrastructure. * Design, extend, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation frameworks with a focus on resilience and scalability. * Strong scripting skills in Bash/Python for automation, tooling, and CI/CD integration. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and QA, to ensure robust, secure, and scalable application delivery. * Take ownership of software releases, patching strategies, and infrastructure lifecycle management. * Contribute to and oversee documentation standards, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing practices. * Follow the working schedule of 10:00–19:00 (or 09:00–18:00) UA time
What You Will Bring... * 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering with a track record of managing complex infrastructure. * Strong expertise in the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). * Advanced Linux systems knowledge and deep experience with web servers such as Apache and Nginx. * Strong networking foundation — deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing (local and global). * Proficient in scripting and automation with Bash and Python (or similar languages). * Proven experience with observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Zabbix, checkmk, Prometheus, ELK stack). * Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes * Experienced with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and their integration with cloud-native environments. * Skilled in both SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) database management. * Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPC, etc.). * Strong background with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. * Solid grasp of security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, encryption, and network access control. * Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
Bonus Points If You... * Direct experience managing mission-critical, high-availability, and zero-downtime production systems. * Familiarity with VoIP infrastructure and protocols. * Deep understanding of cloud-native security and compliance standards (SOC2, etc.). * Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems using services like AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, etc
