Vacancy description We are seeking a motivated Strong Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and take on challenging projects with guidance and support. You will work closely with senior PMs, cross-functional teams, and clients to gain hands-on experience while contributing to successful project delivery. Required skills Experience & Skills — 1-3 years of commercial experience in a Project Manager or related role — Theoretical of project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) — Some experience working with development teams (distributed teams is a plus) — Demonstrated ability in planning, execution, and delivery support Technical Competencies — Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar) — Understanding of software development processes and SDLC — Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders — Familiarity with documentation and reporting tools Soft Skills — English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken) — Good communication and active listening skills — Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn — Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment — Eagerness to understand business value and client needs — Positive attitude towards feedback and continuous improvement Would be a plus — Interest in technical aspects of software development — Any experience in client-facing roles or customer service — Basic understanding of project metrics and reporting — Desire to develop leadership and mentoring skills Responsibilities — Project Support: Assist in managing projects according to AltexSoft and industry best practices — Client Communication: Support client relationships and participate in regular project communications — Team Coordination: Work with development teams and help facilitate effective collaboration — Process Implementation: Help establish and maintain SDLC processes with guidance from senior PMs — Requirements Gathering: Assist in identifying client needs and documenting project requirements — Quality Support: Help ensure delivery milestones are met and quality standards maintained — Learning & Development: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and PMO activities — Risk Identification: Learn to identify and escalate project risks with senior PM guidance — Stakeholder Coordination: Support communication between Delivery Managers, Pre-Sales, and Engineering teams
