Position Overview As a Legal Operations Specialist, you will provide strategic legal support across key departments, ensuring contracts, operations, and partnerships comply with applicable regulations and protect the organization’s interests. Your primary focus will be on improving legal workflows, including contract drafting, legal documentation management, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with business teams to ensure that legal processes are streamlined, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
This role is ideal for an organized legal professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings sound judgment, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to cross-functional work. What You Will Do * Ensure the company maintains good standing in all jurisdictions it operates. * Review, draft, and manage service agreements, other contracts, and legal documents to protect the interests of our products; * Negotiation process support and facilitation; * Coordination and collaboration with the different team members on various projects * Respond promptly to legal requests from the business development, operations, finance,marketing, and other departments. * Summarize and communicate risks, legal concepts, company policies, and procedures in a way that business people can use; * Collaborate with the business development, marketing, finance, and support departments to understand team goals and legal needs; * Monitor updates on regulations, compliances, and new legal requirements and ensure that the business is compliant with these updates; * Support the continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes * Communicate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment * Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports towards regulatory bodies across various regions; * Conduct Research and Due diligence on assigned tasks, and present them to the Board; * Provide support in cross-border legal matters and liaise with international stakeholders to ensure compliance; * Perform other tasks as needed to support the compliance and legal work of the Company.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate decision-making, strong sense of ownership, ability to work within assigned deadlines. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Legal Operations and Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and collaborate with team members from different time zones. Skills & Competencies Required * Excellent analytical ability to identify legal and compliance risks and propose practical solutions. * Excellent drafting, negotiations and review skills. * Clear communicator capable of translating legal concepts into business-friendly language. * High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive or confidential matters. * Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across departments. * Familiarity with corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory frameworks and Financial Crime. * Adaptable and comfortable working across jurisdictions and time zones. * Able to support continuous improvement of legal processes and documentation, especially in legal operations and contract workflows. * Well-organized and skilled at improving legal workflows and streamlining operations.
Who Should Apply * Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or other similar field is preferred but not mandatory; * At least 2–4 years of experience in a similar position. * Experience working in technology, fintech, payments, or a highly regulated industry is a plus. * Previous exposure to cross-border legal matters and contract negotiation with international stakeholders. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
