ELEKS is looking for an Information Technology Director in Ukraine.
ABOUT PROJECT We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Information Technology Director to lead the internal IT function, guide the Workday ERP implementation, enable operational excellence, and drive continuous infrastructure modernization. This role is pivotal in aligning IT capabilities with business priorities and building future-ready IT teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience: * 10+ years in IT leadership roles, preferably in mid-to-large IT services companies (500–5000+ employees). * 5+ years managing multi-functional IT teams and managers (20+ people). * Hands-on experience in ERP or enterprise systems transformation (Workday preferred). * Experience managing complex projects, budgets, vendors, and international operations.
Technical & Process Knowledge: * Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid cloud infrastructure. * Experience with enterprise architecture, solution design, and integration. * Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC2. * Knowledge of ITSM frameworks and tools (e.g., ITIL, service catalog design). * Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and systems implementation lifecycles.
Leadership & Soft Skills: * Strategic Thinking: Ability to align IT with long-term business goals and growth plans * Architecture Ownership: Comfortable with end-to-end solution and enterprise architecture leadership * Transformation Leadership: Proven ability to lead change and modernize systems and processes * People Development: Strong coaching and mentoring mindset, invests in developing managers and teams * Delivery Orientation: Capable of driving complex programs (ERP, integrations, infrastructure) with discipline and structure * Business Partnership: Understands how to translate business needs into IT initiatives and investments

Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. * MBA or relevant management degree is a plus. * Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, or CGEIT are advantageous.
RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as IT co-lead and architect for the Workday ERP implementation program, overseeing integrations, testing readiness, and transition to support * Lead internal IT operations across infrastructure, IT operations, and corporate systems to ensure business continuity and high service levels * Own the development of the IT support model for the new application portfolio * Define and maintain enterprise architecture documentation and standards * Prepare and align mid- to long-term IT roadmaps and budgets (e.g., 2026–2028) * Lead the renegotiation of agreements with internal stakeholders and vendors * Guide modernization of hybrid cloud infrastructure, including VPC and ITSM service models * Develop and mentor IT managers, fostering delivery-oriented teams * Act as a strategic partner to business units, translating business goals into IT priorities and proposals * Maintain compliance with quality (ISO 9001), information security (ISO 27001/SOC2), internal policies, and external audits
