Their success builds upon a best-in-class product, customer experience, emotional engagement, viral marketing, and deep credit decisioning expertise.
One of their founders previously co-founded a highly successful Eastern European neobank with a multi-million customer base.
They launched their first market with Leobank in Azerbaijan in 2021, where they have already established market-leading positions. Their next market was Vietnam, where they launched Liobank in early 2023 and also gained solid traction.

Overview You are an experienced credit risk manager with deep expertise in credit card lending, skilled at developing risk strategies, decision-making frameworks, and advanced risk management techniques.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing credit risk systems, ensuring they are data-driven, effective, and aligned with market demands. What You Will Be Doing * Develop, update, and implement credit risk strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with market conditions and regulatory requirements. * Design and implement a credit decision-making system that optimizes risk assessment and customer experience. * Develop scoring models and expert-based rules for credit decisions. * Analyze and evaluate new data sources, adjusting how existing data is utilized in decision-making. * Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including credit limits, pricing recommendations, and credit terms. * Collaborate with product, legal, and finance teams to ensure effective credit risk management. * Oversee the loan loss provisioning process. * Monitor regulatory changes and adapt policies and procedures accordingly. * Engage with third-party providers such as credit bureaus, account aggregators, etc. * Build and optimize a credit portfolio management system, ensuring long-term stability and risk-adjusted profitability.

Your Experience * 5+ years of experience in credit risk management in credit cards at a bank or fintech. * Proven expertise in developing and applying advanced decision-making frameworks to enhance risk assessment and improve customer experience. * Strong experience in building and managing scoring models, expert rules, and data-driven risk assessment methods. * Advanced degree in finance, economics, or accounting. * Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus. * Fluent in English.
