Are you passionate about creating intuitive user experiences that change how we build apps? We are looking for a UX Designer to join our agentic mobile app generator project. This role will shape AI-driven app generation within the Compose Multiplatform ecosystem.
About the team and role: Our internal accelerator team is developing AI agents to generate Kotlin Multiplatform apps with fully working navigation, data persistence, and access to remote data sources. As UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing a highly-interactive user experience for this generator, from concept to implementation. You will enable users, even ones without a serious programming background, to easily create full-fledged apps and iterate on them rapidly. If you are skilled in user-centric design and interested in driving transformative projects, this role is for you.
In this role, you will: — Work with AI engineers, mobile experts, and product managers to translate complex AI functionality into accessible and responsive user interfaces. — Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. — Ensure an intuitive and efficient developer experience. — Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve UX. — Work with engineering teams to ensure design solutions are feasible and implementable with upcoming AI capabilities. — Join discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions around AI tools.
We’d like you to join the team if you: — Have at least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex software, preferably in developer tools or visual design software. — Have a strong portfolio showing your user-centered design process, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. — Have expertise or interest in AI-assisted development, low-code/no-code platforms, or generative AI. — Are proficient with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). — Work well in distributed, cross-functional teams. — Have strong English communication skills and can explain complex ideas clearly.
We’ll be especially thrilled if you: — Are familiar with Compose Multiplatform, Kotlin, or have experience designing for multiplatform frameworks.
