We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Strong Java Automation API Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java, experience in API testing using Rest Assured, and a willingness to learn and adapt to modern AI tools used in testing.
Requirements: * Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented programming concepts. * Hands-on experience with API testing using Rest Assured. * Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools. * Awareness of AI tools and their applications in testing (e.g., — AI-based test case generation, defect prediction, or automation enhancements). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * English — Upper-Intermediate
Good to Have: * Familiarity with version control tools like Git. * Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation tests. * Exposure to frontend testing frameworks or tools. * Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies in the testing domain.
Education and Experience: * 2 + years of experience in automation testing or a related role.
Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Java and Rest Assured. * Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. * Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation. * Stay updated on emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to automation testing and incorporate them into the testing process where applicable. * Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality software delivery. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing framework and processes. * Perform basic manual testing when required to validate edge cases or scenarios.
