We are looking for a proactive Trainee QA Engineer to join a team of enthusiasts to build successful AI-powered products.
This particular project is based on Retool, a platform that helps build internal tools using a wide range of data sources and complex formulas. It involves extensive UI logic, large volumes of structured data, and dynamic form interactions. While the project does not involve AI at this stage, you will be part of a company focused on AI solutions — so relevant experience or willingness to learn AI-related technologies is highly appreciated.

Are you in?
Requirements: * upper-intermediate spoken and written English; * solid understanding of testing methodologies and test design techniques and their practical usage; * experience in testing web applications; * basic experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB); * analytical mindset and the ability to work with large volumes of data and form-driven interfaces; * good grasp of edge-case thinking: e.g., how does the system behave with empty inputs, malformed data, or large datasets; * ability to create clear and concise documentation, tailored to the project needs; * self-learning skills; * proactiveness and readiness to contribute ideas, not just execute tasks; * will be a plus: experience testing applications with dynamic forms, conditional logic, and calculated fields, experience working with Generative AI or in testing AI-powered applications, experience in testing chatbots or other NLP-driven systems; familiarity with Python or Java or JS for basic test automation or scripting.
Responsibilities: * do tasks assigned to you by main QA Engineer on the project; * conduct functional and non-functional testing, analyze outcomes, and report results effectively; * validate complex UI logic and dynamic behavior of Retool components (e.g., conditional visibility, auto-calculations, table filtering/sorting); * verify business logic and formulas configured within Retool components, ensuring accuracy in computed fields or derived values; * maintain comprehensive test documentation: create and update test plans, test cases, and other documentation to ensure a structured and traceable test process; * approach your work with a forward-thinking mindset: anticipate risks, raise questions early, and suggest improvements. * be a part of team and company culture; * collaborate with the BotsCrew QA team: provide knowledge-sharing and support to other QA team members.
