We are seeking to hire a Data Platform Engineer to join our IT department and help build a scalable, reliable, and transparent data infrastructure.
Requirements:
* Experience working with a variety of database/storage systems: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Elasticsearch.
* Strong understanding of Graylog and Elasticsearch administration.
* Proficient in using visualization tools such as Grafana.
* Proven experience designing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT workflows.
* Knowledge of data replication, backup strategies, and data integrity validation.
* Ability to document data processes and system architecture effectively.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and gather business requirements.
* Previous experience in fintech or working with sensitive/confidential data is a plus.
* System-oriented thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement the architecture for collecting, storing, transforming, and delivering data.
* Collaborate closely with system architects and developers.
* Set up monitoring of databases, replication status, backup integrity, and overall data availability.
* Communicate with business units to gather requirements and align on data formats, structures, and delivery mechanisms.
* Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
* Set up dashboards and data visualization in Grafana, integrating with ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Graylog, and other systems.
* Optimize and support Elasticsearch infrastructure as part of the analytics platform.
* Ensure data consistency and availability across parallel processes and pipelines.
* Create and maintain documentation for systems architecture, data pipelines, and business agreements on data structure and usage.

* Lack of a unified framework for working with heterogeneous data from various sources: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Elasticsearch, Graylog.
* Rapid data growth with increasing complexity in maintaining data integrity, replication, backups, and availability.
* Limited and inefficient data access for internal stakeholders: marketing, product, dealing, finance, and C-level teams.
* No standardized process for aligning business requirements with data formats, structures, and update frequency.
* Absence of centralized data visualization and metric dashboards, hindering real-time monitoring and analytics.
* Need to design a scalable architecture that ensures consistency and reliability of data.
