SHORT DESCRIPTION
Betby team is looking for a Strong Middle QA Engineer to join our Trading Tools team, which consists of 3 Developers, 1 PO and 2 QA Engineers.
We are working on a B2B product that will be used by thousands of websites around the world. We have a high speed of decision making. You will have a great opportunity to make technical decisions.
What we expect: * Excellent communication skills.
Experience: * 1 year in sports betting is a highly desired
REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years of experience in backend QA testing * Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman) * Familiarity with GraphQL * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git). * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaborating with the team to enhance our product’s quality and functionality * Maintaining and applying test documentation and artifacts such as checklists and bug reports * Identifying and documenting bugs in both beta and production environments, and overseeing the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug lifecycle * Conducting exploratory, ad-hoc, and regression testing * Mastering the product structure and understanding the unique features of different sportsbook clients * Analyzing product requirements, clarifying ambiguities, and applying them to your tasks * Executing testing tasks utilizing a deep understanding of various testing types and techniques * Working with product requirements, including their refinement and formalization * Identifying and documenting bugs, while tracking their entire lifecycle through resolution * Participating in meetings and discussions to improve QA processes and efficiency * Gaining a comprehensive understanding of key industry terms, such as bet calculation, cash-out mechanisms, margins, bonus calculations, and types of coefficients * Understanding and applying knowledge of REST APIs (GraphQL & CURL), with the ability to test backend tasks independently of frontend involvement * Managing and maintaining Postman collections * Evaluating complex tasks independently and comprehensively, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in your work * Collaborating with various brands, gaining insights into their specific needs and operations
