Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership & Technical Excellence:
Design and architect enterprise-grade, scalable cloud solutions primarily on AWS, with multi-cloud exposure Lead hands-on implementation of complex cloud infrastructures for e-commerce, fintech, insurance, and B2B systems Develop comprehensive architecture documentation, decision logs, and technical standards Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor development teams on cloud best practices Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost
Pre-Sales & Business Development:
Lead technical pre-sales engagements with enterprise clients in US and EU markets Conduct discovery workshops to understand client requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions Deliver compelling technical presentations and solution proposals to C-level executives Provide accurate effort estimations and technical risk assessments for complex projects Collaborate with sales teams to articulate technical value proposition and ROI
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps:
Master-level expertise in AWS network services: VPC architecture, Security Groups, Route Tables, Subnets configuration Deep understanding of container orchestration: ECS, Fargate, EKS, custom Kubernetes Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (including advanced features like imports and state management) Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ArgoCD, and other modern DevOps tools
Required Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in architect/technical lead roles Expert-level AWS knowledge with proven experience in complex enterprise environments Advanced VPC design and networking concepts Deep understanding of AWS Security Groups, Route Tables, and subnet architecture Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, Fargate, EKS, and Lambda at scale Proficiency in AWS IAM, Cognito, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation/CDK Advanced Terraform expertise including imports, state management, and complex module design Proven experience with large-scale systems in: e-commerce/marketplaces, fintech/payments, insurance, or enterprise B2B solutions
Pre-Sales & Communication:
Exceptional pre-sales experience leading technical discussions with enterprise clients Fluent English with excellent presentation and communication skills for US/EU markets Proven track record of successful client discovery workshops and solution presentations Experience in translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions
Leadership & Process:
Strong skills in leading processes Understanding of modern development processes: GitOps, ArgoCD, mandatory code reviews, automated testing Experience with tools like Backstage, Structurizr, GitLab CI/CD, and Jira integration Knowledge of versioning strategies and release management processes
Nice to Have:
AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) Azure experience (Virtual Networks, AKS, AZ-104, AZ-305) Development background in Javascript, Typescript Database expertise with PostgreSQL, MongoDB GraphQL and modern API design experience Experience with ephemeral environments and zero-downtime deployments Background in SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architectures
