We are building a SaaS BI/AI analytics platform for sports clubs in the US on AWS. We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer & Analyst who can both build reliable pipelines and use the data to deliver business insights. What you’ll do * Design and maintain data pipelines (Python + Airflow in Docker on ECS). * Collect data from multiple systems (POS, payroll, membership, events). * Manage a PostgreSQL warehouse with star schemas and history. * Build and enforce data quality checks (freshness, completeness, consistency). * Define and track KPIs and dashboards for sales, finance, membership, and operations. * Write SQL queries to support reports and analytics.
What we’re looking for * 4+ years in data engineering or analytics. * Strong SQL and Python skills. * Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs (data ingestion from external systems). * Experience with PostgreSQL and ETL/ELT pipelines. * Familiarity with AWS (S3, ECS, RDS) or other cloud environments. * Experience with data visualization or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase). * Experience with modern data warehouses/lakehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, including testing and monitoring. * Experience with ML pipelines or predictive analytics is a plus. * Knowledge of data modeling best practices. * English level B2 +
