Ciklum is looking for a Middle JavaScript Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role: As a Middle JavaScript Developer, you will join a dynamic polyglot team primarily focused on building new functionalities as part of the wider Grocery and Retail domain, comprising several cross-functional teams. You will be collaborating with multiple product and engineering teams around the world, to help unlock new opportunities for customers and partners to improve their experience when ordering groceries. Your role will be pivotal in fostering communication and collaboration. You will work closely with product owners, front-end engineers on web and mobile, as well as other backend engineers. Together, you will design and implement new features, enhance existing ones, boost performance, streamline platforms, and develop robust and scalable backend solutions that serve our extensive customer base.
Responsibilities: * Develop product, deliver features and defects fixes according to the product roadmap with defined standards * Create tests for the features and follows the established code quality rules/metrics * Identify and suggest possible solutions to resolve different types of issues (performance, CI/CD, etc) * Develop and review feature design documentation and provide inputs/updates to specifications for the solution

Software Design:* Following best practices and defined standards for implementing the web application * Experience in designing solutions using the proper patterns and development standards
Software development: * Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript * Usage of the modern framework React and its ecosystem
Quality Assurance: * Hands-on experience in writing unit/integration tests * Ability to spot the issues using the DevTools
Software Deployment: * Experience in following the CI/CD process and identifying potential errors
Desirable: * Familiarity with Vue.js * Knows how to write E2E tests using Cypress * Has experience with Vite * Has experience working with authentication systems, working with OIDC and OAuth protocols * Familiar with JWT structure and basic usage
