Our system is a single-tenant SaaS hosted on AWS in different regions. We use a modern tech stack: Python/Django, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, S3, ECS, and Lambda. Our teams work in Agile Scrum squads, supported by CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and strong security practices.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Full-Stack Tech Lead to guide one of our engineering squads. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced senior engineer. You will set the technical direction for your team while also coding, designing architecture, and solving complex problems.
You will lead your team in building features from start to finish — from design to delivery. You will mentor engineers, keep technical standards high, and create a strong team culture. You will work closely with Product Managers to make sure your squad delivers scalable and reliable solutions for clients around the world.
Key Responsibilities * Lead design, architecture, and implementation of new features that are secure, scalable, and fit product goals. * Mentor and guide full-stack engineers, helping them grow and ensuring high-quality results. * Stay hands-on with coding in Python/Django and React/TypeScript. * Promote best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, and system design. * Work with Product Managers to turn requirements into technical designs and development plans. * Own the team’s technical roadmap and delivery, managing risks and sprint goals. * Lead technical discussions and make important architecture decisions. * Improve developer workflows and team productivity through automation and better tools.
Essential Requirements * 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with senior or lead experience in B2B SaaS. * 1–2 years in a leadership or mentorship role (Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar). * Strong skills in Python 3.10+ and Django 4.x, including REST API design. * Strong skills in React 18, TypeScript, and frontend state management. * Solid system design and architecture skills, especially with AWS. * Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch. * Experience deploying and scaling apps in AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS). * Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across the stack.
Preferred Requirements * Experience in legal-tech, FinTech, or other regulated industries. * Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and AWS tools. * Familiarity with observability tools and security practices. * Experience with testing frameworks, linting, and pre-commit workflows. * Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
