Our client, a legal-technology provider serving leading law firms and investment funds, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering organization. The role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD workflows, and ensuring reliable operations across multiple environments PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
Requirements * 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in SaaS environments * Strong expertise in AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, Redis, S3, SQS, CloudFront, ALB, etc.) * Hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt * Solid background in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, ECS), and serverless technologies * Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for automation * Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch in cloud environments * Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and high availability strategies
Nice to Have * Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) * Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) * Knowledge of AWS cost-optimization practices * Exposure to observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure with Terraform/Terragrunt * Manage CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployments for backend and frontend apps * Operate and support ECS workloads and AWS Lambda functions * Ensure system reliability with monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch or similar) * Manage secrets securely with SOPS and AWS KMS * Oversee multi-region deployments (US/EU) across production and non-production environments * Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with developers, QA, and leadership to ensure smooth releases
