Currently, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our client’s project (USA), focusing on developing solutions to facilitate rapid scalability in solar energy. With the flexibility to work in the American time zone (starting from 7am CST).
Requirements:
— Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations; — Strong experience in deploying and managing Windows and Linux servers; — In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols; — Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix; — Experience in implementing and maintaining security systems, such as Palo Alto firewalls and intrusion prevention systems; — Excellent troubleshooting skills; — Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; — Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience; — Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
— Deploy, manage, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, and security systems; — Configure and optimize servers, switches, routers, and other network hardware and software; — Monitor system performance and availability to ensure the highest levels of uptime and system reliability; — Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Azure technologies, networking and Microsoft EntraID; — Develop and maintain procedures for system backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades; — Manage and support virtualization environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix; — Work closely with development and support teams to ensure that system changes are implemented correctly; — Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and escalate issues as required; — Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
