Business Analyst
Ceron Technologies ecosystem is one of the leading financial services tech enablers encompassing digital payment solutions (processing gateways, cross border and domestic remittances including SWIFT, SEPA Credit Transfers, SEPA Instant Credit transfers, Faster payments), digital e-wallet (core electronic money platform, white-label sub-platform, mobile neobanking), verification services integrations (KYC & AML), cards processing solutions, trading & investment, robust open banking API.
Our Business Analysis team is seeking a Business Analyst with a focus on Profiles/Payments management. As an analyst passionate about financial technology and eager for new challenges, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements with technical solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience in the IT domain, and a keen ability to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications. Requirements:
* Solid experience (3 years +) with business requirements analysis in the IT domain and fintech domain.
Experience with card product:
*
* Card transaction Lifecycle knowledge (authorization, clearing, settlement),
* Understanding of PCI DSS, 3DSecure (3DS) protocols
* Card limits&rules logic
* Understanding of BIN ranges, card design and personalization
* Ability to transformative business requirements to consistent requirements specifications for developers (web, mobile) & designer teams.
* Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources.
* Systems thinking and functional decomposition skills.
* Knowledge of the describing tasks Agile methodology: epic, feature, story, tasks.
* Understanding of principles and specifics SDLC.
* Excellent interpersonal skills — work in a collaborative team with Software Engineers, QAs, Tech Support, Product Owner.
* Upper-intermediate written and verbal English.
* Bachelor or MSc degree in computer science, finance, or related field is a plus.
* Knowledge and expertise in Fintech area is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of business process description methodologies is a plus (BPMN).
Responsibilities:
* Close collaboration with the business team (cards department, clients support, payments department, compliance teams etc).
* Gather business requirements from key stakeholders considering product consistency and ideology.
* Decompose function delivery on stages to meet business needs progressively.
* Assist with requirements gathering and digitalization on all task lifecycle stages.
* Create requirements specification for developers & designers team.
* Create specifications for different APIs integration.
* Compose entity descriptions and data flow diagrams.
* Create customer product specifications and run product demos.
Hiring Process:
* HR Screening (30 minutes) — Initial discussion on experience and salary expectations.
* Technical Interview (1,5 hour) — Assessment of payments, and API knowledge.
* Offer and Negotiation — Alignment on salary, benefits, and start date.
Team Overview
The Ceron Payments & Compliance team consists of five Business Analysts, each covering a dedicated stream such as payments, compliance, integrations, and product enhancements to strengthen our payment infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance.
