Job Description About the company: Engenious is a US-based consulting agency with a global presence. Although Engenious’ main area of expertise is mobile development, it is a home for more than 40 plus talented world-class engineers with domain experience in Web, Backend, and Test Automation.
We are looking to hire Middle General QA for our US client’s project to join our team.
Responsibilities: * Create, organize, and maintain detailed test cases in Case.io for both new and existing product features, ensuring thorough coverage and traceability to requirements. * Test mobile applications (IOS, Android) and web, including cross-browser compatibility to ensure consistent behavior and appearance * Report, track, and manage defects * Plan, maintain, and execute manual and automated regression test suites for mobile and web applications to ensure that new features, bug fixes, and infrastructure changes do not introduce unexpected issues. * Test AI components and learn methods for testing the generative AI functionality. * Develop and execute automated tests for mobile applications and web. * Perform API Testing, validating the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of web services. * Gather and analyze quality state metrics to provide actionable insights to engineering and product leadership. * Proactively collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality product releases.
Requirements: * 3+ years of experience in the quality assurance area. * Minimum 1 year of experience in test automation with any mobile or web automation frameworks. * Strong understanding of QA fundamentals and Agile/Scrum methodologies * Experience with test management systems such as TestRail, Qase.io, or similar tools. * Hands-on experience with Maestro or a strong desire and ability to ramp up quickly. * Hands-on experience testing native mobile apps on both iOS and Android (real devices and emulators/simulators, including profiling). * Competence in user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborating with stakeholders to validate features. * Experience in generating quality reports and KPI dashboards. * Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. * English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Nice to have: * A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering is a huge plus * Proficiency with at least one native mobile automation framework (e.g., XCUITest for iOS, Espresso for Android, Appium, or Detox). * Familiarity with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript. * Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.). * Experience using an AI-driven approach to design and generate automated development flows with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, or demonstrate a desire to learn how to integrate this approach into team workflows.
