We’re looking for an autonomous and proactive User Experience Researcher / Playtest Producer to help fine-tune the player experience of our upcoming title, The Sinking City 2. You’ll play a key role in planning and running playtests, gathering structured feedback, and turning player data into actionable insights for our development team. Responsibilities: * Plan, schedule, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research via internal and external playtests, surveys, and interviews; * Own the process from defining test plans and screening participants to analyzing the data and writing reports; * Own the tools and methods used to gather relevant data, from questionnaires to in-game telemetry; * Choose and define appropriate metrics that reflect the quality of user experience as well as the impact of design changes; * Analyze qualitative and quantitative data (telemetry, session videos, survey results, etc.) * Effectively communicate methodologies and results to the team, focusing on actionable recommendations.
Requirements: * Experience with UX Research and/or Data Analytics (experience in the game industry is preferred); * Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn raw data into clear patterns and actionable and unbiased insights; * Comfortable with spreadsheets and telemetry dashboards; * A passion for games and game user experience; * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation skills; * Independent and self-driven, can own this work and organize other team members as necessary.
Nice to Have: * Data analyst skills and/or background; * Knowledge of Unreal Engine; * Familiarity with game analytics and telemetry; * Experience working on shipped game titles.
