We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to a healthcare-focused case management platform! You will work with a React/Node.js/MongoDB stack, building new features, optimising performance, and supporting secure, compliance-led implementations.
About the project:
Our client provides digital infrastructure for specialty pharmaceutical brands aiming to reduce prescription abandonment. They activate patients as soon as the prescription is captured in the EHR, supporting processes such as consent, affordability, and Hub enrollment.
They’ve developed a mobile platform that assists patients in navigating treatments for life-changing, chronic conditions. Their customers are pharmaceutical companies looking to minimise patient drop-off from often complex and costly therapies. The goal is to help patients successfully start and stay on their prescribed treatments, making their journey easier in the often outdated and overly complicated world of specialty medications.
The team holds a vital role: building and maintaining software that supports and enhances the patient journey across both web and mobile platforms. This work requires a combination of strong technical skills, a user-focused mindset, and an understanding of healthcare workflows.
Key responsibilities * Develop and maintain a modern web application using React.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Node.js/Express, and MongoDB/Mongoose * Build responsive UIs, RESTful APIs, backend services, dashboards, reporting tools, workflow automation, custom forms, and data visualisations * Implement Microsoft authentication (OAuth2/JWT), role-based access, and secure authorisation systems * Customise platform features for clients, support data migrations from legacy systems, and integrate third-party services/APIs * Design and optimise database schemas and queries, implement data migration/validation scripts, and monitor application performance * Manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy across development, staging, and production (GitHub Actions, Heroku), and implement logging solutions * Ensure HIPAA compliance, data encryption, security best practices, and support audits * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Compliance)
Requirements * 5+ years of experience in full-stack development. * Frontend: * Backend: Database: MongoDB, Mongoose ODM, database design principles * Version Control: Git workflow and GitHub collaboration * Tools & Deployment: Heroku deployment and pipeline management, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), package managers (npm/yarn), testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) * Security: Understanding of JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, and web security principles * Experience with healthcare or regulated industry applications * Knowledge of data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts) * Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (LogDNA, Sentry, Papertrail) * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and identity providers * Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, project management tools, and identity providers * Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Compliance)
