Data Scientist (NXJ-37) We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join a fast-growing InsurTech company revolutionizing life insurance with AI and predictive modeling. You’ll build impactful ML solutions that drive smarter decisions and help insurers move from intuition to precision.
This role is not for the passive — we need someone who owns problems, drives solutions, and isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions. Responsibilities * Own the end-to-end data science cycle: design, train, implement, evaluate, and monitor machine learning models * Work on churn prediction, forecasting, segmentation, classification, and regression to drive business decisions * Partner with product managers and clients to deeply understand business challenges and craft data-driven solutions * Apply analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning to real-world insurance problems * Present your findings to stakeholders at all levels, making complex data insights clear and actionable
Requirements * 3+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, from ideation to production * BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field (MSc/PhD a plus) * Expertise in Python and SQL — you should be highly proficient, not just familiar * Strong background in data exploration, analysis, and visualization * Industry experience building ML models (time series, clustering, regression, classification) * A problem solver who breaks complex challenges into actionable steps — and executes * A team player with strong communication skills and a bias for action * Experience in Insurance or Fintech — understanding industry nuances is a major advantage
