Wizer Inc. is looking for a passionate and skilled software engineer to join our team of professionals. The new teammate will work on migration of the existing monolithic application to services as well as developing new features leveraging the best practices and established guidelines for software development.About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to own, improve, and maintain our analytics stack based on Power BI and Power Automate. You’ll manage data flows and ETL pipelines, optimize data models for performance and scalability to guarantee our reports and automations deliver accurate, timely insights to Product, Marketing, Growth, and Leadership.
A significant part of this role is building and operating business-critical automations around our Platform, Stripe and HubSpot CRM via Power Automate leveraging custom API integrations ensuring reliability, security, and observability as first principles. What You’ll Do * Own the BI stack: Maintain and evolve Power BI workspaces, data flows, and datasets with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance. * Automate critical workflows: Design, implement, and maintain customer-facing, business-critical automations in Power Automate, including custom API actions/triggers, webhook processing, retries/fallbacks, error handling, and alerting. * Build & optimize ETL: Design, implement, and monitor ETL/ELT for Power BI datasets (Power Query, custom ODBC, Python, JSON ingestion). * Model data for analytics: Develop datasets, define metrics using DAX, and enforce semantic model best practices. * Integrate with external systems: Build secure integrations with our CRM and other SaaS tools using REST APIs, OAuth, and secrets management. * Ensure data quality & reliability: Add validation, monitoring, and documentation to keep metrics and automations consistent, observable, and audit-ready. * Partner with teams: Work with Product, Marketing, Growth, and Customer Success to translate business needs into dependable pipelines, automations, and self-serve dashboards. * Continuously improve: Identify opportunities to streamline pipelines, reduce refresh times, harden automations, and lower compute/storage costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications * 2+ years in data management/analysis or BI engineering. * 1+ year hands-on with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data flows, datasets tuning). * Proven experience in building and operating Power Automate flows, including custom API actions/triggers, webhook/event handling, and robust error-handling patterns. * Experience setting up and managing ETL/ELT for Power BI datasets (including custom ODBC connectors, Python, JSON sources). * Strong SQL and data modeling skills; experience with BigQuery and PostgreSQL. * Understanding of secure integration practices (OAuth, key/secret rotation, scopes, data privacy). * Clear written and verbal English communication; strong self-organization and collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have * Experience in a SaaS product company. * Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps and broader Power Platform. * Data warehousing experience (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar).
