Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and digitization of environmental and sustainability methodologies. The role focuses on translating technical and process requirements into structured digital workflows, data schemas, and system configurations.
The Business Analyst will collaborate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates, attending coordination meetings, and helping define and refine work items and tickets related to methodology digitization and data integration projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze client and internal requirements for methodology digitization and process automation.
* Define, document, and model workflows, schemas, and data relationships using structured templates (Excel, JSON, YAML).
* Support developers by preparing clear documentation for schema configuration, logic mapping, and workflow design.
* Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to validate outputs and ensure requirements are met.
* Participate in project discussions, backlog refinement, and review meetings to align deliverables with milestones.
* Maintain organized, version-controlled documentation of all project deliverables and updates.
Required Skills
* 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Data Modeler.
* Strong proficiency with Excel, JSON, and data-structure design.
* Ability to analyze and document workflows, data mappings, and configuration logic.
* Very advanced English communication and documentation skills.
* Familiarity with agile project delivery tools (Jira, GitHub, Trello, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
* Understanding of sustainability, GHG accounting, or environmental methodologies.
* Experience supporting digital platforms or configuration-based systems (e.g., Guardian’s policy workflow engine).
* Basic knowledge of APIs, data integrations, or schema validation testing.
* Experience working with distributed or global technical teams.
