About the Role We’re looking for a fast, sharp, and culturally plugged-in Reels Maker who lives inside the world of TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Someone who doesn’t just scroll — but spots trends early, adapts them smartly, and turns them into scroll-stopping videos.
What You’ll Be Doing * Creating short-form vertical videos (15–60 sec) that actually hit * Jumping on trends while they’re still hot — and giving them your own spin * Editing with rhythm, humor, and narrative in mind * Adding smart subtitles/text overlays — not killing the vibe with overload * Offering content ideas, building mini-plans, and staying a step ahead
What You Bring
Creative & Industry Experience * Experience working in or alongside tech, startup, or business teams — or a strong grasp of the tone and rhythm of these environments * Understanding of how founders think, how tech brands speak, and what tone works in a B2B(ish) context * Experience creating content for or inside such teams — not just lifestyle or influencer-style reels * Nice to have: experience in the IT or tech industry
Creative Instinct * Strong sense of humor — irony, self-awareness, even a bit of sarcasm * Good visual taste and sense of pacing * Ability to pack an idea into 15 seconds and make people care * Cultural awareness: you know the memes, the sounds, and the vibe * Bonus: creative background (design, video, film, writing — any flavor)
Editing Skills * Confident working in tools like CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci * CapCut experience is a big plus * Comfortable editing fast, especially for mobile * Ability to match transitions, cuts, and beats with precision
Platform Fluency * Clear understanding of how TikTok, Reels, and Shorts work — and what catches attention * Ability to hook viewers within the first 3 seconds * Strong eye for why a video hits (or doesn’t) — and how to improve it * Nice to have: strong written and spoken English (B2+) for content targeting international audiences
