Join our Infrastructure Team and play a crucial role in building the foundation for Readdle’s next stage of growth. As a System Administrator with a focus on our server-side environment, you will be responsible for the technical execution of projects that enhance our security, scalability, and efficiency.
What you will do: * Administer and maintain our core server infrastructure, primarily based on Linux, ensuring high levels of availability and security. * Proactively monitor system performance and security, implementing updates, patches, and hardening measures to maintain a stable environment. * Automate routine administrative tasks and processes using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. * Manage and support core IT services, including Google Workspace, the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence), and our identity/access management systems (SSO, VPN). * Actively participate in our journey towards ISO 27001 certification by implementing, documenting, and maintaining security controls and best practices. * Serve as a key technical resource for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. * Contribute to the automation and improvement of our employee lifecycle processes (onboarding/offboarding) from an infrastructure perspective.
About you: * Strong, hands-on experience with Linux server administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS), including command-line proficiency, system hardening, and performance tuning. * Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), particularly with core services like EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. * Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is essential. * Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls). * Experience managing Google Workspace and the Atlassian suite (Jira/JSM) for a corporate environment. * Solid experience managing devices in an Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS). * A proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. * Strong communication skills with English.
Will be a plus: * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. * Experience with modern MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji, JAMF). * Understanding or hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Relevant Linux or network certifications.
