We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to support our global legal operations with a strong focus on international structuring, corporate support, and compliance coordination.
This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer who wants to go beyond contracts and gain practical experience in building international corporate infrastructures, navigating EOR models, advising on employment and operational risks, and supporting financial compliance teams on AML/KYC issues.
What you’ll do: * Provide legal support for global company structuring initiatives, including entity setup, corporate governance documentation, and coordination with local counsel * Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of legal documents: commercial contracts, service agreements, employment‑related contracts, and internal policy documentation * Support the People & HR functions on compliance with employment, contractor engagement, and labour‑related legal issues * Collaborate with Compliance on AML/KYC documentation and operational support, including ownership reviews, risk questions, and regulatory filings * Conduct legal research and provide actionable advice on laws and regulations affecting corporate operations, hiring structures, and compliance obligations * Help maintain and improve internal legal templates, playbooks, and contract workflows * Support cross‑functional teams (Ops, Finance, Product, Compliance) with clear legal guidance on business initiatives * Monitor changes in relevant jurisdictions and translate legal impacts into business recommendations * Assist with internal audits, compliance checks, and documentation in relation to legal and regulatory requirements
What we’re looking for: * 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house with a focus on corporate legal support * Strong grounding in corporate law and global legal structuring, including entity formation and governance documentation * Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and operational contracts (NDAs, MSAs, vendor/service agreements, etc.) * Familiarity with labour law basics, employment agreements, and global hiring support * Hands‑on experience supporting or coordinating with compliance teams on AML/KYC processes and regulatory reporting * Excellent English communication (written & verbal); clear, business‑centric legal drafting * Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment * Strong analytical skills with a business‑first mindset
Nice to have: * Prior experience working in a fintech, SaaS, or EOR business environment * Knowledge of international AML/KYC regimes, sanctions, and regulatory reporting frameworks * Exposure to tax or substance requirements from a legal perspective * Experience with contract lifecycle management or legal operation tools (CLM, GRC tools, Notion, Jira) * Additional language skills beyond English (EU/CEE languages) * Interest in expanding into compliance frameworks or legal operations development
