We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in fintech and cryptocurrency applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications, testing integrations with payment gateways, crypto services, and KYC/AML providers.
Responsibilities: * Mobile and Web testing * Maintaining testing documentation * Full coverage of quality assurance processes in a Scrum-based environment
Requirements:
Work Experience and Education: * Experience working in fintech companies. * Experience with monitoring and logging tools. * Practical experience using cryptocurrency in a non-custodial application (Metamask, Phantom, etc.), including personal use, transactions, and working with crypto services.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Concepts: * What blockchain is and its core principles. * Differences between cryptocurrencies and traditional financial instruments. * What smart contracts are.
QA Processes and Testing: * Knowledge of QA processes, testing methodologies, and the ability to apply them in practice. * Experience developing test cases for edge scenarios. * Ability to test fault tolerance and application stability under unstable network conditions. * Experience testing mobile applications for Android and iOS.
Networking Protocols and Technologies: * HTTP/HTTPS — understanding how they work and testing specifics. * WebSockets — basic principles and usage. * Using developer tools (DevTools) for debugging and application analysis.
Nice to Have: * Experience testing integrations with payment gateways, card issuance systems, and providers. * Experience testing integrations with KYC/AML providers.
Tool Requirements: * API Testing and Monitoring Tools: * Postman — ability to create and execute requests, analyze responses, and write basic JavaScript scripts. * Swagger — working with API documentation. * Charles or Fiddler — using them to intercept and analyze traffic.
Mobile Development and Testing Tools: * Android Studio — basic skills, understanding of emulators, logging. * Xcode — ability to work with simulators and debug iOS applications.
Version Control and Task Tracking Systems: * Git — confident use, understanding of branching and merging principles. * Jira — experience managing a bug tracker and working with Agile methodologies.
Additional Skills: * Ability to quickly learn new technologies. * Strong communication skills and teamwork ability in a constantly changing environment. * Willingness to learn and self-develop, especially in fintech and cryptocurrency. * Knowledge of Python or JavaScript is a plus.
