What project we have for you Our Client is the largest Ukrainian telecommunication operator providing communications and data services based on a broad range of mobile and fixed-line technologies, including 4G. Our Client is a part of one of the world’s largest integrated telecommunications companies, headquartered in Netherlands. The holding company owns telecom assets in the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and its shares are freely traded on the stock exchange (NASDAQ). What you will do * Working as a part of one or more agile teams as an ETL System Analyst. * Gathering requirements from business (30% of time), analysing of requirements(40% of time), writing technical specification (30% of time) for integration between DWH and 3PP systems, writing technical specification for DWH layer, analysing and finding bugs in DWH layers * Setting and accepting tasks to/from developers, providing results to business customers
What you need for this * 2+ years of commercial project development experience as an ETL System Analyst and an Oracle PL/SQL developer; * Experience working with any ETL tool is a must (PWC Informatica is highly recommended and is a plus); * Strong data analytical skills; * Excellent PL/SQL knowledge; * Understanding of RDBMS principles; * Methodology: Agile / Scrum and Kanban * Knowledge of Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) * Practical experience of handling big production volumes of data (200TB+) * English — Upper-intermediate
Nice to have: * Experience working with any BI Tools (PowerBI, Report Builder is highly recommended and is a plus); * Knowledge and practical experience with HTTP, Telnet, JSON, HTML, XML, REST, SOAP, XSLT, JavaScript; * Practical experience with NoSQL /Cassandra DB, understanding of non-relational DBs; * Understanding of Telecom billing or provisioning systems architecture; * Knowledge of modern telecom technologies would be a plus.
