ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a highly autonomous Senior Legal Counsel to join our strong Legal Team. You will act as a key legal partner, working alongside your colleagues to support our international operations, navigate complex compliance landscapes, and ensure the company’s rapid growth is legally secure.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
1. Contracts * Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial contracts (MSAs, OEMs, NDAs, etc.). * Support the Sales and Procurement teams, acting as a point of contact for day-to-day contract queries. * Maintain and update the company’s contract templates and legal knowledge base.
2. Compliance * Contribute to the team’s efforts regarding Export Control and Dual-Use regulations (EU/US/UA frameworks). * Participate in complex cross-functional projects (M&A, Due Diligence, IP structuring) under the supervision of the Legal Team Lead. * Assist with KYC/AML procedures for banking and financial institutions.
3. Operational Support * Support HR and Ops teams in structuring relations with talents: B2B contractors, and employees. * Help the team minimize risks related to tax residency and permanent establishment for our remote workforce. * Conduct legal research and create a knowledge base to support the team in decision-making.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * Experience: 4+ years of legal experience, including 2+ years in the IT/Tech sector (Law Firm or In-house). * Language: English — Upper intermediate. Ukrainian — Native. * Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively within a legal team, share knowledge, and synchronize on tasks. * Hard skills: Experience with IP protection and commercial contracts in IT. * Soft Skills: Attention to detail, proactivity, and readiness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment without heavy bureaucracy.
NIVE TO HAVE: * Experience with the US, Polish or Estonian legal system. * Understanding of Defense Tech specifics or Dual-Use regulations. * Experience adapting products to data privacy protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
