About the project: The project focuses on building a complex, real-time, multi-component system with deep hardware integrations, strict scope control, and high reliability requirements.
Requirements: Experience & Delivery Excellence: ● Outsource Background: 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management within an outsourcing business model. ● Fixed-Price Mastery: Proven track record of successfully delivering Fixed-Price (FP) projects. You must demonstrate deep expertise in scope baseline management, change request (CR) procedures, and financial risk mitigation. ● IoT & Hardware/Software Integration: Practical experience managing IoT projects or complex systems involving hardware, firmware, and cloud/mobile software layers. ● Complex Lifecycle Management: Experience managing the full SDLC of large-scale projects (6–12+ months) with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, DevOps, Design, Embedded).
Soft Skills & Communication: ● English Proficiency: Advanced / C1 (Fluent). Ability to negotiate, present complex technical concepts, and manage conflicts in English without hesitation. ● Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to create and deliver high-impact presentations for C-suite stakeholders, including project steering committees and pre-sales pitches. ● Strategic Thinking: Ability to see beyond the Jira board—understanding the client’s business goals and aligning technical delivery to provide maximum ROI.
Technical & Methodology Competence: ● Hybrid Approach: Proficiency in Scrum/Kanban for development, combined with Waterfall-style planning necessary for Fixed-Price milestones and IoT hardware synchronization. ● Risk Management: Advanced skills in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating technical and business risks. Tools: Expert level in Jira, Confluence, MS Project (or similar), and financial tracking tools. ● Ukrainian Nationality
Key Responsibilities: ● Scope & Budget Guard: Act as the primary gatekeeper for the Project Delivery phase and be able to strategically balance scope, schedule, and budget to ensure high-quality results. ● Stakeholder Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Act as the main point of contact for escalations and high-level reporting. ● Pre-sales Support: Assist the sales team in estimating new Fixed-Price opportunities, drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), and presenting our delivery capabilities to prospects. Team Leadership: Mentor junior/middle PMs and foster a high-performance culture within the engineering team.
Nice to have: ● PMP, Prince2, or PSM II certifications. ● Technical background (former Developer or QA) or a degree in Engineering/Computer Science. ● Experience with international compliance standards (GDPR, ISO, or industry-specific IoT standards).
