Dedicatted is a DevOps and product engineering consultancy. We partner with high-impact product companies to accelerate delivery, optimize infrastructure, and scale efficiently. We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to work full-time with one of our US-based clients — a long-standing web platform undergoing transformation into a modern SaaS solution.
About the Client Project
The client is a popular internet tool with 20+ years of history and global usage. Originally created to simplify and enhance online sharing, the product now serves millions of users monthly. The company is investing in the future of the platform — evolving from a single-purpose tool into a feature-rich SaaS offering. This includes expanding into link management, analytics, monetization, and enterprise-grade capabilities. The team is small, senior, globally distributed, and fast-moving.
About the role
You will be the single source of truth for everything the engineering team builds:
• Own discovery, documentation, backlog, and roadmap
• Bridge between Founder vision and development execution
• Ensure feature clarity, alignment, and delivery quality
Responsibilities:
• Run internal discovery workshops with the Founder and engineers
• Write high-quality specs with clear overviews, risks, acceptance criteria, and UI/UX needs
• Monitor and maintain documentation for features, edge cases, and ongoing updates
• Own the backlog and ensure it reflects real-time progress and changes
• Lead roadmap planning and feature prioritization
• Collaborate closely with developers for technical adjustments
• Support the Customer Success team (e.g., product questions, tickets, release notes)
• Maintain internal product documentation and knowledge base
• Drive cross-functional alignment on feature status and goals
• Document internal processes and decisions
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in technical product management
• Proven ability to write specs that engineers respect and enjoy using
• Experience working across European and North American time zones
• Experience in lean teams (<30 people) is a strong plus
• Hands-on software development background (especially backend or full-stack) is a big plus
Ideal Candidate Would Be:
• Comfortable switching between dev-speak and stakeholder language
• Obsessive about clarity and eliminating ambiguity
• Enjoys support work and documentation ownership as part of product scope
• Proactively identifies gaps in planning, backlog, or communication
• Structured, detailed, but biased toward shipping
• Energized by end-to-end ownership in high-trust environments
• Flexible when urgent needs arise
• Seeks impact, not permission
• Team-oriented and goal-driven
