We are looking for a proficient Java Developer who is passionate about building high-quality backend solutions and collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient software products.
Project — Our client is a USA-based industry leader in Digital Data Governance. The company empowers world-renowned brands such as Apple, Ford, Booking, Adidas, and Adobe to build trust in their data, ensure privacy compliance, and enhance customer experience. The project focuses on developing and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure in a fast-growing, high-load environment. Must have: * 4+ years of hands-on commercial experience in Java backend development using Java 8+ (streams, lambdas). * Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot). * Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. * Professional experience with relational databases (MySQL). * Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3). * Experience writing and maintaining Unit and Integration tests. * Strong understanding of DRY, SOLID, OOP, and OOD principles. * Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher. Good to have: * Enterprise experience in designing and developing highly scalable and distributed systems. * Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization. * Experience with Snowflake database. * Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ or Amazon SQS preferred). * Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or Jenkins. * Experience with Docker. * Experience in Scala programming language with Akka framework. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain backend services (primarily in Java and partially in Scala). * Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform. * Optimize performance within services (code and database queries) and across distributed systems. * Participate in architectural discussions and technical design of product features. * Conduct software analysis, testing, debugging, and resolve production and non-production issues. * Take part in daytime on-call rotation to ensure operational excellence.
