Why this role exists: This role exists to own and evolve the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function across the company, ensuring our reward strategy attracts, motivates, and retains top talent while supporting sustainable business growth. You’ll design and implement competitive compensation programs, ensure operational excellence and compliance, optimize and automate C&B processes, and maintain full control over HR budgeting to drive transparency, efficiency, and measurable impact.
What you’ll drive: Compensation Strategy and Planning — Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with company goals and industry benchmarks. — Lead the design and management of salary payments, bonus schemes, and other incentive programs. — Present new compensation approaches to management and ensure clear communication and alignment with stakeholders. — Collaborate with senior management to review and adjust compensation practices in line with business needs. — Ensure fairness of compensation payments within the company. — Ensure compliance of compensation programs with legal requirements.
Benefits Management — Evaluate benefits and making recommendations for enhancements or changes. — Manage relationships with benefits vendors.
HR budgeting and data analysis — Budget Talent department expenses and managing budget execution, including analysis of deviations from budget. — Analyse data in order to identify trends, unusual fluctuations and take data-driven decisions.
Team management — Supervise a team of compensation and benefits specialists. — Assign tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring team performance. — Conduct performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members. — Develop the skills and knowledge of team members through training and professional development opportunities. — Define team gaps and providing action plans to address them.
Project management — Lead the projects in order to implement new C&B programs or to enhance operational efficiency of existing C&B processes. — Drive digital transformation initiatives within the С&B function. — Take ownership of the reservation process for the Ukrainian site.
What makes you a GR8 Fit: Must-have — 2+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits as a C&B Team Lead. — Proven track record of delivering impactful C&B projects (e.g., total rewards strategy, benefits strategy, automation of C&B processes, launch of new compensation schemes). — Deep expertise in C&B practices, approaches, and market benchmarking. — Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets, identify trends and deviations, and make data-driven decisions. — Experience managing and monitoring C&B and HR budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis. — Ability to design, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs end-to-end. — Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to C&B programs. — Experience with HRIS and advanced tools to automate and optimize C&B processes. — Proven ability to lead cross-functional C&B projects of high complexity. — Strong level of autonomy: able to make decisions within the area of responsibility and execute independently. — Leadership experience: managing, mentoring, and developing a team of C&B specialists. — Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and present insights to senior management. — Upper-intermediate or higher level of English. — Fluent Ukrainian.
Nice-to-have — Knowledge of HiBob/Jira. — Expertise in C&B practices, approaches for the Spanish market. — Experience working with the employee reservation (military deferment) process in Ukraine.
