TheTop — an early-stage AI startup — is looking for a React Native Mobile Developer (Expo) to join our team and help build and scale our mobile app for iOS and Android.
We’re creating a personal AI assistant for overloaded decision-makers — a product that connects to email, calendars, and tools to turn daily chaos into clear actions.
You’ll work closely with the CTO and founder, contributing not only to feature delivery but also to architecture, UX, and overall product quality. Tech Stack (Mobile) * Language: TypeScript * Framework: React Native 0.81 + Expo (SDK 54) * Routing: Expo Router * State/Data: TanStack Query, Zustand
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the mobile app using React Native + Expo (iOS & Android) * Build new product features, screens, and user flows * Improve UX, performance, and app stability * Integrate and maintain external services and SDKs * Contribute to mobile architecture and technical decisions * Collaborate with backend and product teams * Support build, release, and deployment processes
Requirements * Solid commercial experience with React Native * Strong knowledge of TypeScript * Hands-on experience with Expo (including EAS Build / services) * Experience with mobile subscriptions (RevenueCat or similar) * Experience with push notifications (Firebase FCM) * Experience with mobile analytics tools (AppsFlyer, Firebase Analytics, etc.) * Experience integrating OAuth providers (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, etc.) * Experience with Sentry or similar monitoring tools * Understanding of CI/CD for mobile apps * Product mindset — you care about UX, not just implementation
Will Be a Plus * Experience with animations (Reanimated, Lottie, Skia) * Experience designing mobile architecture * Experience working on production apps with subscriptions, analytics, and integrations * Experience releasing apps via Expo / EAS
