Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Representative to drive growth across Spain and the European market. This role is critical to expanding our footprint in the healthcare sector and requires a deep understanding of clinical environments, long sales cycles, and stakeholder-driven decision-making.
You will own the full sales cycle, from strategic prospecting to closing complex deals, and play a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution * Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within ophthalmology clinics, hospitals, and healthcare systems * Own and manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → demo → negotiation → closing * Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with company growth targets * Develop tailored sales strategies for different European markets
Stakeholder Management * Engage with key decision-makers including ophthalmologists, medical directors, clinic owners, and procurement teams * Navigate complex healthcare buying processes and multi-stakeholder environments * Build long-term relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients
Product & Market Positioning * Deliver compelling product demonstrations and clearly articulate clinical and operational value * Translate technical AI capabilities into practical benefits for healthcare providers * Gather market feedback and collaborate with product and marketing teams
Collaboration & Reporting * Work closely with marketing on lead generation and campaigns * Collaborate with product teams to align on customer needs and roadmap priorities * Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline tracking, and forecasting * Report on KPIs, sales performance, and market insights
Industry Presence * Represent Altris AI at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events * Stay informed on healthcare regulations, trends, and competitive landscape in the EU
Requirements
Experience & Background * 8+ years of B2B sales experience in healthcare (required) (medical devices, digital health, SaaS in healthcare, or similar) * Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals * Experience selling into hospitals, clinics, or healthcare networks
Sales Methodologies * Strong understanding and practical experience with structured sales methodologies, including: * BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) * MEDDICC / MEDDPICC * Miller Heiman (Strategic Selling / Conceptual Selling) * Ability to apply these frameworks in real-world, complex sales environments
Skills & Competencies * Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills * Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles * Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution * High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability
Languages & Location * Fluent in English (required) * Additional European languages are a strong advantage * Based in Madrid or willing to travel frequently across Europe
