As part of the Blackbird team, you will be responsible for managing 2 teams: a mobile application development team and a product team responsible for launching a new product. 50,000+ businesses across the US already use the app.
The client’s development organization is structured into vertical product pods that deliver features across both web and mobile platforms. One of our teams focuses on streamlining development operations and empowering all engineers to contribute to the mobile codebase confidently; the other team is a new vertical team that will work with the client’s Product Managers and Designers to build a new product within the existing ecosystem.

The company’s mission is to provide business owners with clear visibility into earnings, expenses, and savings so they can operate more efficiently and make smarter financial decisions.
Responsibilities * Manage 2 teams of 2-3 developers each * Coordinate with product management and design functions * Write tickets, product requirement documents (PRDs) * Build delivery plans, report to the Senior Engineering Manager on the client side * Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies of both teams
Requirements * 5+ years in software engineering * Prior development experience * Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile app architecture patterns * Advanced English speaking level * Native Ukrainian speaking level
