What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the CFO, your primary responsibility will be leading Peratera’s global accounting operations and ensuring financial integrity across all business units. You’ll be instrumental in scaling our accounting infrastructure and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. * Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and reporting * Build and manage a high-performing accounting team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management * Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in compliance with IFRS/GAAP * Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and investor materials * Manage regulatory filings, tax compliance, and audits across multiple regions * Design and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to support growth and scalability * Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Product, and Operations to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making * Own accounting system improvements and integrations in collaboration with the tech and data teams
We Are Looking For * 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role * Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is required * Experience working in fintech, payments, or cross-border financial services preferred * Proven ability to manage international accounting and regulatory complexities * Deep knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP * Strong systems orientation—comfortable working with ERP platforms and accounting automation tools * Excellent attention to detail with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude * A strategic thinker who can scale processes and bring structure to a fast-paced, high-growth environment
