About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ASO Specialist with a proven track record in Google Play optimization to conduct a full ASO audit of our key applications and lead a strategy for sustainable growth in organic installs and conversion rate.
Your first and primary responsibility will be to analyze our current store presence, identify missed opportunities, and provide a detailed, actionable plan to improve visibility, keyword rankings, and page conversion. After the audit phase, you will be responsible for implementing and testing these improvements.
Key Responsibilities * Perform a comprehensive ASO audit of our existing Google Play listings, including keyword strategy, visual assets, and conversion funnel. * Research, select, and cluster keywords (high-, mid-, low-frequency and niche terms) to expand our semantic coverage. * Analyze competitors and identify growth opportunities. * Optimize metadata (title, short description, full description) and localizations for maximum search visibility. * Plan, launch, and analyze A/B tests in Google Play Console (icons, screenshots, descriptions, feature graphics, promo videos). * Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to develop high-converting visuals based on data and industry trends. * Monitor keyword rankings, visibility, conversion rates, and organic traffic, providing regular performance reports. * Stay up-to-date with Google Play algorithm updates and market trends.
Requirements * 5+ years of proven ASO experience focused on Google Play. * Demonstrated success in increasing organic installs and improving conversion rates through ASO. * Deep understanding of Google Play search ranking algorithms and visual asset impact. * Proficiency with ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, SensorTower, AppMagic, Data.ai, ASOdesk, AppFollow). * Strong skills in keyword research, semantic expansion, and competitive analysis. * Hands-on experience running and interpreting Google Play Store Listing Experiments with statistical significance. * Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with performance data (Google Play Console, Firebase, analytics dashboards). * Upper-Intermediate English or higher. *
Nice to Have * Experience in the Photo & Video or Creative Tools category. * Copywriting skills for high-converting descriptions. * Basic design skills (Figma, Photoshop) for creating or adjusting ASO visuals. *
KPI & Expectations * Measurable growth in organic installs for target regions. * Improvement in store page conversion rate. * Expansion of keyword coverage and maintenance of top positions for strategic terms. * Successful deployment of winning A/B tests with proven uplift in KPIs. * Delivery of a comprehensive ASO audit report within the first 4–6 weeks, with a clear 3–6 month action plan.
