We are seeking a powerhouse Head of Business Development to command the full partnership and supplier ecosystem for one of the fastest-growing RubyLabs products — ClarityCheck. This is a full-combat operational role — you will own every supplier pipeline, every negotiation, every contract, and every new vertical with absolute accountability for results. Your mission: scale our business development machine globally, enforce data quality discipline, and deliver consistent growth through relentless execution and innovation. Core Mission Maintain end-to-end control of the entire business development ecosystem — from competitor mapping to supplier negotiations — with military-grade discipline, rigorous quality control, and constant exploration of new data opportunities to maximize ClarityCheck’s market dominance. Key Responsibilities * Competitor & Partner Mapping — Build and maintain a real-time map of key competitors and potential partners across all ClarityCheck verticals. * Supplier Pipeline Ownership — Establish and manage a daily active pipeline of potential data suppliers across phone look-up, email look-up, image look-up, VIN look-up, and upcoming verticals. * Manage a team of Junior Business Developers — that handles multiple company verticals at the same time * Data Suppliers Acquisition — Drive continuous sourcing, outreach, and onboarding of new suppliers to ensure the widest and deepest data coverage in the market. * Negotiation & Deal-Making — Lead end-to-end negotiations with suppliers, from initial estimates and data validation to contract signing and pricing optimization. * Data Verification & Quality Control — Establish frameworks and enforce rigorous processes for supplier testing, validation, and ongoing quality assurance. * Integration Leadership — Coordinate with product development and data engineering teams to integrate and optimize new suppliers into ClarityCheck pipelines. * Data Verticals Expansion — Monitor and identify new niches and data verticals, build entry strategies, and establish new supplier relationships to fuel growth. * Process Discipline — Define and enforce structured business development processes, ensuring daily pipeline updates, rigorous follow-ups, and strict accountability. * Knowledge Base Ownership — Build and maintain a centralized knowledge system of suppliers, contracts, data quality benchmarks, and competitive insights. * Cross-Team Collaboration — Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure supplier partnerships drive measurable product and revenue impact.
Requirements * 3+ years of experience in product management. * 3+ years of experience in business development with proven supplier or partnership management success. * Proven track record of working with and analyzing large datasets. * Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and Excel with advanced analytical capabilities. * Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals. * Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). * Relentless attention to detail, operational toughness, and accountability-first mindset.
