Role Overview We are looking for a Frontend Tech Lead to guide one of our engineering teams. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced frontend engineer ready to take the lead. You will set the technical direction for your team and be deeply involved in coding, architecture, and solving complex UI and UX challenges.
You will help design and build new features from start to finish — from planning to implementation — while mentoring your team, maintaining high technical standards, and building a strong, collaborative culture. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Leads to make sure your team delivers scalable, maintainable, and high-quality user-facing solutions for our global clients. Key Responsibilities * Lead the design and development of new frontend features that are secure, scalable, and aligned with product goals. * Mentor frontend engineers, review code, and support their professional growth. * Stay hands-on with React/TypeScript development and solve complex UI, state management, and performance issues. * Promote best practices in coding, testing (Jest, React Testing Library), CI/CD, and component architecture. * Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Leads to turn product ideas into strong technical solutions. * Manage your team’s technical roadmap and sprint delivery while addressing risks and dependencies. * Lead technical discussions and make key architecture decisions for frontend applications. * Improve developer workflows and team efficiency through better tools and automation.
Essential Requirements * 7+ years of experience as a software developer, including work as a Senior or Lead Frontend Developer in a B2B SaaS environment. * 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role (Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar). * Strong skills in React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and modern state management tools (Redux Toolkit, React Query). * Experience designing scalable, maintainable frontend architectures. * Good understanding of frontend build tools, testing, and performance optimization. * Experience deploying and scaling frontend assets in AWS (S3, CloudFront). * Familiarity with backend technologies (like Python/Django) and REST API design. * Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements * Experience in legal tech, fintech, or other regulated industries. * Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and AWS tools. * Familiarity with observability (CloudWatch, Sentry) and security (KMS, SOPS, JWT). * Experience setting up testing and linting workflows (pytest, ESLint, Ruff, Prettier). * Experience leading a remote or distributed engineering team.
