Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies to improve website rankings, organic traffic, and user engagement. * Respond to client requests and lead the team in their execution. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, web developers, ad managers and designers to implement best practices. * Perform detailed keyword research to identify valuable target keywords and optimize content accordingly. * Create and manage content optimization plans that align with SEO goals and business objectives. * Conduct thorough website audits to identify technical and content-related SEO opportunities and issues. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine algorithms to ensure digital marketing strategies remain effective and compliant. * Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics to provide regular performance reports to clients. * Communicate with clients to understand their goals, provide strategic recommendations, and address any concerns. * Provide guidance on website structure, internal linking, and other technical aspects to improve crawlability and indexing.
Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Marketing Account Manager in an agency setting (more than 2 years). * Excellent command of the English language with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Problem-solving attitude with a continuous learning mindset to adapt to evolving client challenges and digital marketing trends. * Client-centric approach with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. * In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, and content optimization. * Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. * Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS) and experience in content optimization. * Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Preference will be given to candidates based in Canada or those able to work Canadian business hours.
