As part of our strategic growth, we are launching a new internal studio focused on expanding our slot portfolio and strengthening in-house art and animation production. This studio will play a key role in shaping the visual and animation quality of our upcoming games and building a scalable, high-performance pipeline.
We are looking for a 2D Spine Animator who will be responsible for delivering high-quality animations for slot games and contributing to the full animation production cycle. Responsibilities — Produce high-quality 2D animations in Spine for slot games (H1—H5, Royals, Wild/Scatter/Bonus, Big/Mega/Epic/Grand Win, FSS, transitions, infographics, etc.) — Optimize animation assets: grids, meshes, constraints, skins, atlases, and control overall project performance — Maintain production hygiene: clear naming conventions, structured files, accurate event timing, clean JSON/atlas exports, and dev pipeline compatibility — Collaborate closely with art leads, product/game designers, and developers to ensure alignment on style, quality, and technical requirements — Iterate quickly based on feedback and production needs — Mentor mid and junior animators: review work, provide constructive feedback, and help raise overall team quality — Actively participate in team discussions, brainstorming, and pipeline improvements Requirements — 4+ years of experience with Spine 2D animation in gamedev (slots, casual, or mobile games) — Strong portfolio with real production examples (preferably shipped projects) — Proven experience optimizing animations for engine and device constraints, including work with large sets of symbols and pop-ups — Solid understanding of export and integration pipelines — Strong fundamentals in animation principles: composition, rhythm, timing, secondary motion, and readability — Experience with optimization techniques: profiling Spine files, reducing draw calls and atlas sizes, asset reuse approaches — Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team — Ability to work independently and make technical and creative decisions — Advanced technical expertise in: * Spine 2D (meshes, weights, path, IK/constraints, skins, slots/bones, events, draw order, performance techniques) * Adobe Photoshop * After Effects (Trapcode, Saber, RTFX)
